The Well of Ghars Tour

Step into history and visit Ghars Well, a prophetic site where the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed ablution and drank from its blessed waters. It is authentically reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) requested his body be washed with water from this very well after his passing. Located in the Al-Awali District on Qurban Road, just 1,500 meters northeast of Quba Mosque and south of the Prophet’s Mosque, Ghars Well stands as a sacred landmark deeply connected to the Seerah (biography) of our beloved Prophet. Lined with basalt stones and surrounded by the remains of ancient structures, Ghars Well invites visitors to reflect, connect, and walk in the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
