Bani Unaif Mosque
Bani Unaif Mosque is a historic site built where the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) once prayed during a visit to the ill Talha ibn Al-Bara’. Located southwest of Quba Mosque along the Hijra Route, it sits in the former village of Bani Unaif, a subtribe of Bali allied with Bani Amr ibn Awf.
The mosque, originally built of basalt stone with visible traces of a mihrab, has been restored like other historic mosques. It was constructed in one of Bani Unaif's forts and honored by locals who preserved the spot where the Prophet prayed.
