Al-Aqiq Valley Walking Trail

Al-Aqiq Valley is one of the most famous valleys of Madinah. It was the scene of some episodes in the Prophet's life. The valley is home to some historical monuments, such as the palaces of Saad bin Abi Waqqas and Urwa bin Az-Zubayr, together with historical stone inscriptions. The walkway overlooks this valley which abounds in important historical monuments.

Geographical Location: Al-Aqiq Valley walking trail is about 6 kilometers away from the Prophet’s Mosque. It is close to the Islamic University. A Walking Trail in a Blessed Valley: Al-Aqiq Valley is a blessed valley that figures in the fragrant biography of the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him. In this valley, Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to the Prophet while he was on his way to Makkah to perform Hajj, and said to him, “Pray in this blessed valley, and say: ‘Umrah and Hajj.”
