I have been a guest at Anantara resorts before and have always associated your brand with outstanding hospitality and a luxurious experience. Unfortunately, during my most recent stay at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, I was disappointed to find that the experience fell far below expectations.

Several areas stood out:

Service & Attentiveness: The responsiveness and communication from staff were not up to the standards I previously experienced at Anantara. Treatment felt less personal and lacked attentiveness.

Rooms: The rooms looked dated, with poor lighting that created an uncozy and somewhat unpleasant atmosphere. The property no longer carries the modern, chic, and elegant feel that I used to associate with Anantara. Renovation seems overdue.

Facilities: Restaurants and the pool area felt empty and dull, lacking the vibrant and lively ambiance one would expect from one of the UAE’s top luxury resorts.

Special Requests: Even a simple request for a slightly late checkout was declined abruptly, with strict insistence on leaving by 12:00 noon. This is unusual for a high-end resort and left a negative final impression.

I share this feedback not to complain but in the hope that it is taken constructively. Anantara has always been a name I trust, but this experience unfortunately did not reflect the brand’s usual excellence.

I sincerely hope steps will be taken to restore the level of luxury, service, and hospitality that Anantara is known for.

I Loved our stay at this beautiful resort! The location is full of history, the interiors are gorgeous, and the rooms are both comfortable and elegant. Everywhere you turn, there’s something to admire. The staff were welcoming and gave us the freedom to explore without any pressure, while also being quick to respond to every request. Overall, such a relaxing and memorable experience, definitely one of the best resorts I’ve visited!

We had Dinner at The Bushman’s Steakhouse and it was sumptuous. Though, the restaurant at the time was really busy on a Thursday night, we had to wait a good 20-30mins for every meal to be served.

But the Best part with our stay is the Breakfast Buffet at Crescendo! The most Heavenly Breakfast I have ever been to! Their variety of dishes and very courteous staff is what made our experience truly memorable. We’ll surely plan to go back!

Had the BEST time at Anantara The Palm. I was looking at Atlantis The Royal which is like 3x the price, and I'm so glad I chose this hotel instead. The vibe here is amazing with all the beautiful green spots, and the staff are just awesome – so friendly and well-trained.
​A massive shout-out to Abdullah Balochi. He was super helpful, polite, and just a great guy all around. Made our stay even better. The management needs to know he’s a star! Seriously, one of the best hotel experiences ever.

Anantara Spa is definitely a gem in the gorgeous hotel. Few years back I enjoyed Turkish Hammam and was happy to come back and try 60 min signature massage. It's been truly pampering experience which started with the refreshing towel offered by welcoming team and followed by massage. My therapist Agnes listened to me carefully and worked out nicely my most stiff areas. In the end of the session I rested in lovely dedicated area enjoying my tea and dates. Fantastic facilities, highly recommend to arrive earlier and enjoy sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Always happy to have chance and return to this little heaven. And by the way, the place was rather busy which I treated as a very good sign.

We stayed here a month ago as a family and booked multiple rooms — everything was excellent. The place is clean, not crowded, and the rooms and amenities were well-maintained. Staff were all very helpful and all-out with their service.
We loved that the pool was open 24/7, and breakfast was great, high chair and kids utensils were available upon request. The lagoon area was a big plus — our one-year-old could play safely nearby while we relaxed. It was also nice that we were allowed to enjoy our food and drinks by the pool.
Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! Everything was perfect – from the warm welcome to the comfort of the rooms and the overall atmosphere. A special thanks to Mizan at the bar, who was absolutely exceptional with us. His professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness made our evenings even more enjoyable. We had an excellent stay with our family at Anantara The Palm Resort. Although we faced a small issue during check-in, the management immediately acknowledged it and handled the situation with great professionalism, ensuring our comfort.

The breakfast experience was exceptional, offering a wide range of cuisines and delicious options to suit every taste.

Overall, our stay was memorable, and we truly appreciate the hospitality and attention to detail from the team. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing getaway.

Food in Crescendo, The beach house and Mekong were below average.

If you go for half board… and plan to have dinner at Mekong… they charge you for water :) …. water and soft drinks are not included.

Lagoons water need more cleaning and care.

The Family Deluxe Villa is Outstanding! The Rooms were organized and you even get direct access to the Lagoon! There was stairs leading to the kids room. It even has guard rails so if you have a baby It can’t get injured. The Kids room has a Bunk Bed, A couch, 2 large bean bags and a very small but nice tent. There was also a TV in the Kids room and a PS5! ( But the Controllers cost extra )

Overall one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to

My recent stay at this hotel was outstanding. The rooms were impeccably clean, modern, and well-maintained, with fully functional amenities including a reliable air conditioner and pristine bathroom facilities. The staff was courteous, attentive, and quick to address any requests, making me feel truly welcomed.
The property offered convenient on-site parking, which was a huge plus. Housekeeping was thorough and consistent, ensuring the room was spotless throughout my stay. The overall atmosphere was professional and guest-focused, with no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

Suresh was an excellent server. I really enjoyed my dinner at the beach house. Super helpful in choosing wine and main course. Plus you can’t beat the atmosphere of being on the beach in Dubai!!

We’re frequent travellers and stay in luxury resorts several times a year, but we always come back here, even if only for a few nights, as it’s a cut above.

The facilities are brilliant, pool never too busy, but busy enough to have atmosphere, lots of food choices, great beach and activities, luxurious accommodation and a great spa. Service is always spot on - nothing is ever a problem to the staff.

Mukhtar’s service at the pool bar was perfect.

This is a beautifully designed resort with everything you need for a relaxing break. Situated at the end of the east crescent of the palm makes it difficult to get to, but once there you have little reason to leave. The lagoons are available 24/7 for morning and night swimming, and being able to walk in from your room is a delight. The beaches are beautiful and the beach club is busy, meaning there is something for most members of the family.

I'd recommend booking the steakhouse in advance. I would also recommend getting two nights and asking for early and late check-in as you'll love every minute.

Fantastic hotel and resort. We stayed half board- well worth it. Breakfast in choice of places and lunch/dinner can be taken in multiple restaurants. The palm is stunning, great views of the burj out the front and the palm / Dubai city on the beach.
Staff extremely attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. Will definitely be returning.

We are currently spending 12 days at this amazing resort. Peace & tranquility coupled with luxury and family fun. The staff are SO friendly and cant do enough for you. A big shout out to Sidney who was very kind letting our daughter sit on his boat in the lagoon whilst serving us coconuts. He always has a smile on his face just like all of the staff. We still have 7 days left and I can already say we would definitely return. The food is of excellent standard in all restaurants. The housekeeping and grounds staff work so hard to keep the hotel look its best. I will leave a big trip advisor review once we are home.

We have been travelling to Dubai for a number of years for some winter sun and are kicking ourselves that we only found this resort now. The second you walk through the door into the gardens1 and lagoon area you feel you have been transported all the way to Thailand. This is the place you must go to if you want to relax, enjoy the sun and be woken by birds singing in the morning. Right on the beach with the friendliest staff you will find peace and quiet, away from the busy Dubai but close enough to dip your toe in it when you venture out.This will be our go to place every time we go back to Dubai.

Everything on the Palm Island is definitely worth a five star for me and more. Scenery is awesome.try visiting the Palm Islam via the monorail. You will get a beautiful view of Dubai and guess what? It's silent because it crosses the residential areas. One would think you could actually jump out of the monorail 🤣

Excellent hotel! We came here for the day to use the facilities and we had a very good time! The pool was incredible, very innovative, very warm and not too busy.
There are lots of sun loungers, water villas and places to sit. It is on the palm and so it overlooks the beach which is very nice too.
It is definitely one of the nicer hotels on the palm. I would highly recommend staying here, whether that is just for the day or for a lengthier period of time. Five stars!

Incredible place. The service is top notch. The views are mesmerising. The experience truly memorable. We loved every second of our stay and will be back for sure. The rooms with direct pool access are the best and worth it. Thumbs up and great job by the entire team.

One of the best pools on dubai , overpriced but service is good

I have visited the resort my friends and it's the best resort experience we've had till date. The theme of the resort is so unique and beautiful. Located right at the corner of Palm Jumeirah with beautiful views. The best part is their pool with amazing cool water and the bar in between to enjoy your drink while having a chill. Would recommend it 5/5

A Thai owned chain serving a non US clientele gives this resort an exotic vibe. The service is uneven between the bustling main resort and the empty adjacent condo (where we were assigned) though. Outstanding breakfast buffet with unusual offerings like raw honey comb which you saw off pieces with a metal wire. 

Located on a far frond of the famous artificial island means you’ll pay more and travel longer to reach Dubai. Close proximity to Atlantis though.

Fantastic  property, truly heaven.My wife and I recently visited Dubai for some much-needed relaxation & chose to stay at the Anantara Palm Jumeirah hotel.

We chose this particular hotel not just for the spectacular Jumeriah beach location but also the promise of a five-star experience. We have stayed at many luxury resorts & hotels around the world but I can honestly say that the hotel & its staff more than exceeded our high expectations.

Mariam, Dee & the entire front desk team are a credit to the Anantara Palm  each guest with the utmost respect & professionalism...no request is too hard for them! 

In addition, Jeffrey  in the spa team were incredible...we had two couples massages & they were exceptional! 

The restaurants were all amazing  an experience we will never forget.

The pool side drinks/food service is excellent! 

Every time we are in Dubai we will definitely be staying at the Anantara Palm again & we will be telling all our family & friends about how amazing this hotel is...! If you want a 5 star experience in Dubai...this is the hotel for you!!

I enjoyed every second of my stay, the place is magical. Very relaxing, romantic and fresh. I have to admit that it is costly but the whole experience was worth every dirham paid. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast buffet is mouth watering with many Arabian, western choices, but the fruits were not so fresh. 

The restaurants there are also romantic and they serve delicious food. 

Checking in/out and the car valet service might take a while though, so be patient.

Oriental style 5 star hotel at Palm Jumeirah. Resort style with good choice of restaurants and coffee shops. Has beach access and great views from any side. It's a bit far from the city.

The hotel has unique style in Dubai. Lagoons and villas are amazing. Right next to the beach. The interior is really beautiful. The villas are perfect for families and couples. There are villas right access to lagoon pools and villas with private pools or villas with beach terrace. The restaurants are elegant and the food is really tasty. The staff is helpful. Definetely recommended for all the types of guests.

Nothing to complain about in the slightest. All staff are courteous and willing to help. The food in all restaurants is fantastic, including the buffet, which is unusual. All the little extras like the turn down service , courtesy bus to the Mall, iced face cloths and lollies by the pool and on the beach, really add to the experience. I can't wait to come back again and would certainly look to book Anantara hotels around the world.

Absolutely magical experience for the wedding of my wife’s sister. The whole family had an amazing time in Dubai and extended their stay before flying home to Brazil. 

I think part of the experience has to go down to your amazing team and palm hotel.

Absolutely perfect hotel!  Great staff every where around the resort!  Would never stay anywhere else and would not change a thing on this vacation including our fabulous apartment suite!

Hotel is really nice and you don’t feel that you are in the big city. Breakfasts are great. It’s a nice place for a quick holidays. 
HOWEVER... I had some problems with reception staff honesty which was confusing and uncomfortable. 
During my check-in I have been informed about possibility of the room upgrade at discount price - for a pool access suite - during whole my stay. 
After first night I approached reception desk in the evening to get upgrade done from the next day. Receptionist told me they have room available but he has to consult with his manager. After getting back he told me that I have to pay for the upgraded room from tonight to get it (at 9pm) and he CANNOT guarantee the upgraded room from tomorrow (?!) - I was confused like - if you have this room available from today why can’t you book it from tomorrow for me? 
Answer was: I can’t do it... can I help you with anything else?
and that’s it...

I’m escalating this here because hotel is unfriendly for any complaints.

More could be done with the size of theplace.. but overall i loved it.. its an experience in itself.. food needs to be improved in presentation.. good food though

Came here for Friday Brunch... Great setting by the pool, with live music. Drinks arrived fairly quickly and food was all to an excellent standard! 

Service was of the high standard you would expect from an Anantara resort too...

This is an amazing resort. We chose one of the lagoon access rooms which was lovely. We also had half board option and went to all of the places to eat apart from Revo cafe. The staff everywhere were so friendly and genuinely wanted to please you. The hotel is located on one of the far sides of the Palm which is not near to anything so you have to get a taxi if you want to go somewhere else. They do run a shuttle bus to one of the malls though. I would absolutely love to come back here. Definitely made the right choice out of several places to choose from in Dubai!

Loved the place from the moment I saw it. Amazing service, nice beach, even better pool, many restaurants, very serene, yet diverse place with a lot to offer. Once you go there, you will always come back.

Lovely restaurant with a lovely view. Close proximity to the beach ensures that the view remains uninterrupted. Service staff there is process and customer oriented.

Food is alright, could be better. that being said, the food takes second place as the view and location is the main draw.

The experience in this hotel was great. The food was delicious. The pool area was clean and nice, with the heated water, and the beach was even better. The service was also great, and there are lots of things to see quite near in Dubai downtown.

I had lunch at the restaurant “The Beach House”, to be honest it doesn’t worth the money! I mean you pay for oily calamari and bad service! There are better places in Dubai!! The view is breathtaking though!

Absolutely STUNNING resort. A swim up room is a must, and if you have the money to upgrade to a villa they looked incredible.

Best place for a family vacation! The lagoon Access rooms are amazing! Along with the kids spent the whole stay at the pool!. Breakfast was great! Water sports are awesome! Place is pricey but value for money is a 100% excellent staff and service.

Stayed for 10 days at the end of September and had the best time. Staff were perfect hotel was was clean and food was nice in all restaurants and I would recommend to go half board as this saves a lot of money. Takes about 15 mins in a taxi to get of the Palm. I would return

Fantastic day at the Anatara - very friendly and welcoming staff and an amazing lunch in the beach house !!!!  Calamari and pizza was outstanding ..... donut speedboat ride was great fun too....  a thoroughly enjoyable day at a great welcomin hotel with excellent facilities and service  :-)

AMAZING!!!! Best hotel i have ever been to. The staff are really kind and very helpful. The design is luxurious and modern. The food is Amazing! The restaurants are top class and very tasty. There is a big variety of where to eat in the resort. The rooms are spacious and very modern. There is a posh touch to it as well. 
The best part of the resort is jumping straight of your balcony into the blue lagoons and going for a swim in the mile long lagoons!
This is probably the best hotel I have ever been too!

Sadly I can't give a full review of the hotel, but from what I experienced it's the perfect getaway. My wife and I stayed in the lagoon pool access room and it couldn't have been a better escape from work and the noise of the city. The service was on another level compared to any hotel I've been too, and I travel for a living so that's saying a lot.

The staff are very polite and helpful.. We request a late checkout and got 3 more hours granted. 

The only thing I would suggest to improve is the beach sand, I believe this can be done, the sand was seemed rough-ish and artificial like it was leveled by those road works equipment.. 

I had spa massage which wasn't good, the gem steam at the spa was very good, I experienced the results 2 days after with my skin amazingly super soft and all pimples cleared 

Generally, it's definitely a place I would highly recommend. If you can afford the rooms with lagoon access, it's the deal to go for...

Sincerely, one of the best places I visited ever. Lagoon villas are a must for stay, have a beautiful look to Dubai, nature is really adorable, lots of pools... A beach where you can relax, and you can sense all the beauty of The Palm. Since I fell in love with this place, I'll visit it every time I'm in Dubai ❤

Nice location. Lagoon villas are recommended. Watch out for the supplements in the restaurant if you are a resident. Staff could be a bit quicker.

I'm reviewing the standard room at this hotel, other rooms and experience may differ. The room is spacious and clean. The view from our room makes me wonder about the architect. What a waste of perfect site for a world class resort. Not worth the price at all. I could have stayed at the Palm Atlantis and would have paid the same price, but I'd get a much better view.  You don't even feel like you're surrounded by the sea, it's the Palm form God's sake. The walls are paper thin, I've heard sounds from drilling, grinding and hammering. We woke up to the sounds of hard sex at 3 in the morning. When I complained they offered me a sea view for an extra charge per night. I'm thinking that this is a scam hotel which pretends to be in the Maldives. :D
I asked to self park my car and they told me that they only offer valet parking. Ok, great, but when you pick up your car the driver expected me to pay a tip everytime. When I stopped paying, the drivers slowed down my car parking services.
The staff are trained to give quick replies of we can't do anything and at the end we are at fault. I wasn't going to write such a long review if I only faced one issue. But it is silly and stupid....
Three stars for convincing me that they are a Palm Dubai Resort. Waste of money and time. That's the view from our room. Architect, call me for tips ;)

Only been here a day but so far it is gorgeous. Food absolutely delicious, staff are so helpful and our lagoon access room is very comfortable. 

They trick you into believing you're staying at the resort but you're NOT. The resort is separate from the 'residences' which are apartment style and away from the pools an restaurants. Also, the food is overpriced and not good at all. Simple things like pizza were terrible and overpriced

The hotel is beautiful and romantic! Perfect for a Romantic getaway. All the staff at the hotel are amazing, and the exclusivity and amazing rooms do justify the price. My rating would be 5 star IF their reservations staff were better at communicating via phone and email.
At times it felt like I was talking to a Robot and their replies felt like they were taken from a manual, it lacked the human element.
Still highly recommend it, because in the end, they did everything I asked, even if they didn't inform me in advance (it was like a surprise), tho expect to empty your pockets.
