We visit quite often to use the pool. The pool itself is lovely and a good vibe. Twice we have visited and the water was so cold it was like an ice bath and we watched people complain all day and noone was using the pool. Sometimes the music is crazy loud as if it's a pool party but that's really not the vibe. Staff are friendly enough and attentive. The real let down is the food which is not good at all. Even basic things like guacamole taste packaged. Pizza is always served cold. I believe most of the food is packaged and just warmed up. If they could improve the food this would get 5 stars review from me as the facilities are really nice.
I had a lovely stay at Al Habtoor Polo, where most of the services were excellent — the staff was courteous, the suite overlooking the polo field was spotless, and the facilities were beautifully maintained. The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the scent of the bathrobes, which had a strong curry-like smell. Even after housekeeping attended to the suite and replaced the robe, the new one had the same scent. This suggests they might not be laundered at a sufficiently high temperature. The towels were perfectly clean and fresh. While this was just a small detail, it did slightly impact the overall experience in an otherwise wonderful resort. The serene atmosphere and elegant surroundings truly made it a memorable escape.
It was my first time at the Polo and I had a very positive experience. The staff was very nice and attentive, the place was on point and the there was a variety of food and drinks for every taste. I am planning to come back! 🐎
Horrible customer service and behavior from manager Hitesh. I booked a session, and was unable to show up - Instead of being understanding and instructing me of policies professionally, he started misbehaving and refused to refund me. I then had to even cancel my hotel stay for that week because of his unwillingness to move my horse riding schedule for evening or morning times. He's also refusing to refund me and appearently provided me with an "exception" by being able to come next time for the session I have already paid for. He's refusing to pay me back 250AED nor providing flexibility in when I am able to come. Why should I follow 24 hours notification policy when you are misbehaving with a female on a phone call? Ridiculous and pathetic.
The polo season kicks off with the Halloween Cup, running from October 26 to 31 at Al Habtoor Polo Club. Expect chills, thrills, and heart-racing action in the first tournament of the season. Spectators are welcome to watch the games and enjoy a day of great polo in lovely weather.
