My stay at the hotel was excellent. The reception was outstanding, and I would like to give special thanks to the Indian staff member Ashok for his kindness and friendliness. The hotel’s location in Media City is perfect, close to JBR and convenient for getting around. The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious, and the breakfast was good with a nice variety. The parking service was also excellent — you can leave your car, and they will take care of parking it for you. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience that I highly recommend.

The Only Place to Stay for a Cool Dubai Experience

Media One is more than just a hotel; it's a destination. The energy here is fantastic, making it the ideal spot if you want to be close to the action.

The design is fresh, edgy, and the whole place just buzzes. I particularly enjoyed the Garden on 8 for an evening drink and watching sport—the atmosphere was second to none.

The room was ultra-modern, very quiet, and had a breathtaking view of the early sunrises. Everything was perfectly maintained.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are all friendly, fast, and clearly love working here, which translates into a great guest experience. 10/10, will be recommending to all my friends!

I really enjoyed my stay at Media one. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. House keeper Betty was doing a great job with keeping my room clean and tidy with personalized touches. My ride to the airport was so smooth and Imamu my driver was great. The location is central and the hotel is full of places to eat and hangout. The only thing that could improve is the pillows - they were not very comfortable but other than that, the experience was great.

Unfortunately, I endured two consecutive nights of severe disturbance, which made my stay quite unpleasant. If any maintenance work is necessary, it should be conducted in a manner that does not disrupt the comfort of the residents.
I seldom feel the need to raise concerns when staying at a hotel, but this experience compelled me to share my feedback. Upon contacting the reception, I was simply told, "We are sorry, but the maintenance team has permission to work until 8:00 PM."

I really loved the hotel buffet! The food was super delicious, especially the bakery section—it was so fresh and tasty. The service was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable.
I’d like to give special thanks to Natasha—she always serves with so much love and a big smile. I didn’t even have to call her; she was right there whenever she felt I might need something. That kind of care really makes the experience unforgettable. 💜

I absolutely loved my experience at Media One. The location is close to a metro station if you want to save on taxis. The view from the room was breathtaking.
The room was pretty small, but always perfectly clean and has everything I needed - iron and board, good quality shampoo and conditioner in large bottles, so you don’t have to ask for extra, small working station, coffee and tea.
The breakfast was amazing. Special thanks to the team of Qwerty restaurant. Room service was amazing as well.

Just for the record, everything is a 4.8 in my eyes. I loved my room on the 15th floor with the nice view of the Marina architecture. But, what really gets 5 stars is the lovely hotel receptionist from Kazakhstan, Mirna. My she's such a lovely sight and very professional human being. Truly, loves her job with passion. Hopefully, the next time I stay here I have her check me in to the hotel. Wonderful experience.

I always love staying at Media One Hotel in Dubai! The staff are friendly and accommodating, there are a good choice of outlets, restaurants/bars- the Italian restaurant is especially great. The hotel is well placed, and the rooms are very clean. Thank you, keep up the awesome service!

I used to stay here in the past and thought I’d picked a little gem for the money versus other hotels.
However, whilst the communal areas were still okay in the downstairs, the rooms are now a little tired and smelled very musty.
The pool is also okay to swim in, but the surrounding areas are very tired.
The breakfast was pretty disappointing. Serving cold food (that was meant to be hot) and the standard of food wasn’t that you would expect in Dubai overall.
This hotel is fine for a cheap couple of days, but now the money does reflect the standard, where it never used to!
It’s a shame as many fond memories here and unlikely to revisit.

Many thanks to Emily at the reception for her kindness and support throughout my stay. Her attentive and friendly service made my visit even more enjoyable. I spent two weeks here on vacation, and it was fantastic. All the staff are extremely friendly and professional, from Emily at reception to the lifeguard at the Coco Lounge, and all the ladies at breakfast, specially Dwi, that made my day everyday. The hotel is super clean, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. I will definitely miss it.

I stayed here during a road trip and was very impressed. The hotel had convenient parking, 24-hour check-in, and a surprisingly luxurious feel for the price. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Everything you need after a long drive. Couldn’t ask for more.

I stayed three months in Media One Hotel.

The hotel is a nice concept only as a property but unfortunately managed by very bad people!

The high rates are unjustifiable compared to the guest experience you get as a long-stay guest.

I saw insects in the room.

Housekeeping was bad whenever Moses was not doing my room.

Chlorinated water in the shower and sink damaged my hair and skin.

Management was so unprofessional and rude upon stay extension.

Lukas, the Operations Director, was very unethical.

For the amounts I paid and the way I was treated, I surely would never come back to this hotel or even recommend it to anyone!

Totally not worth it!!!

This hotel made my holiday to Dubai. It's super lively, lots going on, the staff are so friendly and attentive. I really liked the WhatsApp system for contacting the hotel. As a lone traveller, it was easy to mix and meet people. Pool was great, the restaurants and bars are great too (didn't go to the club on the upper floor but tried the rest) good happy hours and offers on. Breakfast was nice with a small buffet and supplementary a la carte meaning eggs etc were always freshly cooked. Room was a good size and nicely appointed. I must mention that it is a very lively place and the noise on a night is evident. This is mentioned in other reviews too. For me, it was fine and if you're out late, it doesn't really matter. However, I would say it's not really suited to families or those wanting a quiet relaxing holiday so do your research and make sure this is the best place for you. If it suits your needs, you'll love it!

Average in everything. Nothing stands out or would give guests lasting memories. For business travelers it is just about enough (small rooms, though). Upkeep/maintenance is not up to expected standard (hot water not always running) and some basic expected services are not available (no room service menu in the room, empty mini fridge at check-in, no one could provide a shoe horn upon request, even though one is in every decent hotel room in Dubai!). Food quality at the breakfast buffet is also just average. Everyone from the staff smiles and tries to help, but at the end it is just meh.

I visited Media one hotel during my last  business trip . I was supposed to stay 6 days then I've extended for 5 additional days.  I liked the location of the hotel, the ambiance, the lobby, the different bars and restaurants,  the business floor,  and the lovely staff always available. A special and big thanks for "Hay" who knows what is a customer service and customer care. Her attention towards the customers is remarkable and much appreciated. I will definitely consider visiting this hotel for my next trip.

If I could rate this higher I would! This was by far my best stay in Dubai and it's all thanks to Media One Hotel. The rooms were extremely nice, clean, and fully stocked with all necessities. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Hay at the front desk, who was so accommodating to my requests. The facilities were great, and the space was lively for entrepreneurs for when they needed a break from work. I only got to stay here for two nights, but I wish I had found out about it earlier as it would have made the beginning of my trip to Dubai much more enjoyable. There is no doubt I will be staying at Media One every time I come back to the city next.

Set up and attended an industmtry event. Good service and conference room. We were glad to have a dedicated IT person standing by at all times.

As far as service goes, it was great.  Modern hotel, but not really cosy if that's what you are looking for.  Rooms are nice and clean.  Various dining and entertainment options, which is good if you don't want to go far from the hotel.

They made a mistake with my booking and the manager had handled the situation perfectly without hindering my time. Excellent team they have as well as an excellent place to stay the night.

I had a very nice stay here, the room was comfortable with a bath/shower and separated toilet. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I also enjoyed the breakfast as I could eat something different every morning thanks to their huge buffet. You can also order custom omelette or scrambled eggs, very nice! The swimming pool is on the third floor together with restaurant and bars. The only sad thing is that they close the swimming pools at 19:00. There is also a bar on the 43rd floor with billiards.

I've never stayed here, but all my work meetings are done at media one hotel. The place has great options for meetings at the cafes and outdoors spaces. Smoking and non smoking plus good drink options as well as coffee and food. The bar is also very happening if you just want to chill out after a long day at work. Easy to get to from the metro station, you can walk if the weather's nice, otherwise take a cab for AED 12 to 15 (depending on traffic). Paid parking is also available.

Came here to attend a launch event for Casio watches. Not too bad. Conference hall seems perfect for corporate events with a mini bar at your disposal. Good view of the Sheikh Zayed Road. Valet parking available on the ground floor upon arrive and becomes complimentary upon validation

Ambiance at Coco on 8 is beautiful but I think the package is a rip off. For 249 per person you have to get your own drinks from the bar while the waiters are just standing with no work as the place is not full, draft beer is not included in the brunch which doesn’t make sense, sun beds have reserved stickers on them, they are actually not reserved. And one platter of bitings doesn’t really constitute as food. Total rip-off. Love this place but have to reconsider coming back...

Great place to stay in definitely. I'd also recommend the salad bar at one of their venues - Cafe M - for lunch. Great staff, friendly and speedy service; ask for Jackson he is the best. The sports bar is pretty decent too. If there's one thing I would add it's a sauna or a steam room as part of their fitness offering for those of us that stay in hotels regularly
