You have children’s activity such as colouring and the same is displaced on their LCD which is an interactive thing to do. You get to touch the star fishes. Beautiful planned aquarium.
Sharjah Aquarium and Marine Museum is a great family destination, especially for children who are fascinated by fish and marine life. The place is calm, relaxed, and well-maintained, offering an enjoyable experience for both kids and adults. It’s also wheelchair accessible, which makes it convenient for families with elderly members or strollers. A perfect mix of fun and learning in a peaceful environment."
From Dubai we rode a taxi to Sharjah Aquarium. We arrived around 5:15. We toured around the area. There are alot of varieties of fish. My wife and son really enjoyed the aquarium. We finished around 5:50. I thought the ferry going to Al Ghubaiba would leave 6:15 as per google. It seems that the 6:15 is only Mon-Thurs. So the ferry left at exactly 6PM. The last ferry to Dubai is 9PM. We tried booking careem but most drivers doesn't want to go to Dubai. So we just had dinner and took the last ferry. Super affordable as well for 15AED. Boat ride is around 30-40mins.
The Sharjah Aquarium is a wonderful destination for anyone interested in marine life. I had a great time visiting this place. The variety of fish and other sea creatures on display is impressive and the tanks are well-maintained. Peaceful surroundings and nicely decorated area makes the atmosphere more appealing. I liked that they have all facilities like prayer room, gift shop and coffee shop also.
The Sharjah Aquarium is a wonderful place to explore marine life and learn about the underwater world. The variety of sea creatures is impressive, from colorful fish and seahorses to sharks and rays. The aquariums are well-maintained, and the information boards make it educational as well as fun. The facility is very clean, spacious, and family-friendly, with easy navigation through different sections. I especially enjoyed the tunnel areas where you can see fish swimming all around you—it feels magical. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the ticket prices are very reasonable for the experience. It’s a perfect spot for families, kids, and anyone who loves nature. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Sharjah!
