Honestly, we ended up running around like kids ourselves! The planetarium shows were a highlight-absolutely stunning. They use one of the best projectors I've seen, and it genuinely feels like you're being launched into space. The atmosphere was calm, with very few crowds, so you can explore at your own pace. Tickets were 50 AED per adult, which felt totally worth it. Just a heads-up: there were no vending machines or shops when I visited, so I'd recommend bringing your own snacks and water.
We went on a Sunday afternoon, I must say it is one of the best experiences I had. Daily they have different shows and we got a chance to see "Destination Mars", they had live presentation and the equipment there are just amazing (they have device which can project 10 millions stars in 4K) which is just amazing; I would say it is such a must visit and after the show the collection of space related artifacts are a much watch.
Sharjah Planetarium is out of this world! 🚀 The shows are informative, engaging, and visually stunning. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the experience even more enjoyable. The planetarium's facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the exhibits are fascinating. A must-visit for anyone interested in space and astronomy! 👍 Just wish they allowed us to watch more than one show on the same ticket, since it was pretty empty - would've loved to explore more! 😊
We had a visit to the Sharjah Space and Astronomy Centre today! It was a good educational experience for both adults and kids. The facility is beautifully designed, modern, and well-maintained and clean. The staffs were friendly, always ready to answer questions and guide us through the exhibits. One of the highlights was the planetarium show — an immersive experience that took us on a journey through the solar system and beyond. It truly felt like we were floating through space! Lot of parking spaces!!💪😀 Whether you’re a space enthusiast or just looking for a unique experience in the UAE, this is a must-see!
Nice people and nice place. There were many interactive objects with explanations to understand how some topics work. the Professor and the research assistant who performed the show in the planetarium, were really nice people and also answered the questions. It’s really worth a visit.
